Fable 3?

Fable, Initially a groundbreaking game of epic proportions, has turned into a disapointment with all the lost ideas and false hype surrounding the franchise, I dearly hope Fable III makes up for Molyneux's overhyped bullshit. I'm gunna get it soon, I'll review it then.

Guide to Traversing the Web

Okay, the web is a wonderful thing, many people use it every day and rely upon it. But what about those who know very little about it? I usually find that this is the vast majority of the web. So, here are a few helpful tips to start you off.

#1. You don't need to put www. in the adress bar
What it says on the tin really, http://www.google.com/ will work just as well as google.com and facebook.com will work just as well as http://www.facebook.com/home.php or some other longwinded web adress. The web has evolved since its conception and everything has been made simpler than it was a few years ago.

#2. Learn what each file type is
Okay, here's a wide problem with novice computer users recently. they don't know about various file types and what they do. Here's a list of what they are and what they do.

.jpg - A JPG file is a file which is always an image.

.mp3 - MP3 is a well known audio file which plays sound and music

.exe - EXE is also known as an executable file, this means it is a program, so for example if you are downloading a 'video' file that is called "hannah_montanna_free_taco_burrito_coke_is_good.exe"
it definately is not a video file, and most likely contains a virus, this is because many files which have strange looking names contain viruses.

.mp4 - An MP4 is an video file which can be put onto iPod's and various other portable video players.

#3 Don't confuse yourself over Technical Jargon

Okay a lot of people don't realise this but you don't need to know everything about the computer to actually operate it efficiently, for example people get flustered when an error message pops up, this is usually nothing to worry about, especially if you are on windows, if your computer doesn't show any other signs of something wrong with it such as shutting down, slowing down, internet going off etc.. You are generally fine, also don't worry about terms such as SSL, HTTP, IP, MAC, DNS, LAN and other such things, if you don't know what they mean now, you probably dont need to.
